With the first dumping of snow already on the ground, skiers are getting ready for a full season ahead.
The Cross Country Ski Association of Manitoba is holding their 31st annual Swap Shop on Saturday, November 23.
The seasonal event is a community sale of new and used cross country ski equipment, where knowledgeable volunteers and local retailers also assist people with their purchases and to pass on valuable information about the programs offered by CCSAM and the cross country ski clubs of Manitoba.
Saturday’s Swap Shop will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Windsor Park Nordic Centre, 10 Des Meurons. Entry is $1 per person or $2 for a family. Individuals wanting to consign their gently used equipment must do so Friday, November 22 between 4-9 p.m. Photo ID is required.
