Bodybuilder Charged for Importing Steroids

Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)A 37-year-old Winnipeg body builder faces charges for allegedly importing anabolic steroids into the country.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has charged Jason Mark Eggleston with five offences, saying a lengthy investigation found the man to be importing the drug for the purpose of trafficking. Anabolic steroids are considered a controlled substance under the CDSA.

Numerous websites list Eggleston as a local bodybuilder, registered nurse, personal trainer, and health and fitness consultant.

Eggleston will appear in Winnipeg provincial court January 13.
