Construction this weekend at the RBC Convention Centre will close a downtown street to traffic.
The city says Edmonton Street will be fully closed to traffic from Broadway to York Avenue starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, November 30. The street will reopen Sunday, December 1 at 6 p.m.
Work on the 38-year-old building is well underway to accommodate a $180 million expansion. Construction is expected to be complete by 2015, adding 340,000-square-feet.
