Winnipeg police have arrested a 38-year-old man on child pornography charges after an investigation by police in Brampton, Ontario.
Between July and November of this year, Peel Regional Police discovered a man to be sharing child pornography on a popular file sharing program. Several images and videos of young boys were found to be associated with the man’s account.
Police in Winnipeg were contacted after the man’s location was identified and arrested him on Tuesday at a home in Windsor Park.
The man, who hasn’t been named, faces numerous charges. He was released on a promise to appear.
