Trinity Western Invading Bison Territory in Weekend Volleyball

University of Manitoba BisonsThe Manitoban Bisons volleyball teams are hosting their western rivals, Trinity Western, this weekend in two-game sets.

The Bison men (5-5) are ranked sixth this week after moving up three spots in CIS rankings, while the Trinity Western Spartans (9-1) are currently second in the country after sweeping Regina last weekend.

On the women’s side, the Bisons (6-4) are at their peak so far this season, sitting in fourth place after a split set in Alberta. They hold the same record as the Spartans, who are ranked fifth.

Games will be played Friday at 6 p.m. (women) and 8 p.m. (men), with rematches on Saturday at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively.
