Talk, Country Take Top Spots in Fall Radio Ratings

Winnipeggers love their news talk and country music, according to the latest Fall 2013 radio ratings book.

BBM Canada on Thursday released the numbers, measuring the period September 2 to October 27.

680 CJOB (Corus) and QX104 (formerly Astal) come out on top of the list for the most listened to AM and FM stations, respectively.

Bell Media saw two of their stations (103.1 Virgin Radio and TSN Radio 1290) dip in the ratings, while 99.9 BOB FM increased their share by a single point.

Power 97 and 99.1 Fresh FM (Corus) also dropped, while FAB 94.3 gained a 0.8 share to sit at 7.0 for this book.

The below data is for the 12+ demographic, with the Fall 2012 ratings in parentheses for comparison.
