The city’s snow route parking ban will continue tonight, going into effect again at midnight.
The ban prohibits parking on any snow route between midnight and 7 a.m. while in effect. Vehicles parked in violation of the ban will receive a $100 ticket and may be towed.
Winnipeg received between five and 10 centimetres of snow on Wednesday, quickly putting snow-clearing crews and sanding trucks to work.
The city’s annual snow route parking ban comes into effect Sunday, December 1.
