Santa Bus (CITY OF WINNIPEG)
Santa Claus doesn’t always use a sleigh — sometimes he drives a bus.
Winnipeg Transit is rolling out its annual Santa Bus on Sunday, December 1, collecting cash donations from riders for the Christmas Cheer Board.
Until December 24, bus #829 will have the jolly old man behind the wheel with his reindeer on the exterior.
Last year, $13,000 was collected for the Cheer Board.
Look for the Santa Bus on the following routes:
- 11 Portage-Kildonan (December 1-7)
- 16 Osborne-Selkirk (December 8-14)
- 19 Marion (December 15-21)
- 18 Corydon (December 22-24)
