12 Hours of Christmas to Support Winnipeg Harvest

December 6, 2013 8:15 AM | News

Hunger for HopeThree Winnipeg radio stations are banding together to raise funds and support for Hunger For Hope today.

The initiative, which focuses on feeding babies and infants through Winnipeg Harvest, will be the focus of the annual 12 Hours of Christmas charity auction.

680 CJOB, Power 97 and 99.1 Fresh FM will be collecting donations from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Listeners can call 204-779-HOPE (4673) and bid on hourly auction packages featured on each of Corus Radio Winnipeg’s station websites.

Power 97 will broadcast the auction live from Grant Park Shopping Centre, where the stations have teamed up for the centre’s annual food drive in support of Winnipeg Harvest, which takes place until December 24.

The goal this year is to raise $50,000 for Winnipeg Harvest.
