Bethlehem Live runs December 12-15 at Gateway Church. (HANDOUT)
More than 200 actors are helping put on “Bethlehem Live,” a free indoor event that leads visitors on a journey into the past this Christmas season.
Gateway Church is behind the production, which includes a replica town of Bethlehem built in the church’s gymnasium, a stable full of live animals and a living Nativity scene. Interactive components of the tour also allow visitors to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of Bethlehem’s first Christmas.
The event runs December 12-15 and takes roughly 30 minutes to tour, depending on wait times.
More than 450 volunteers help put on the event, which has helped it to attract over 32,000 visitors since 2006.
