December 11, 2013 7:05 AM | News

The tree will be lit up in front of the Brummitt Feasby ALS House tonight.

The ALS Society of Manitoba’s annual Lite Up a Life campaign began on December 1 and has been steadily collecting donations. From now until January 31, donations for the Christmas tree at 106 Kirby Drive can be made for $5 (three bulbs), $10 (seven bulbs), or for $150 you can light up an entire tree.

On Tuesday, students from Vincent Massey Collegiate pitched in to set up trees for the lighting ceremony.

The lights will be flicked on at 7 p.m. tonight. The public is invited to attend and enjoy coffee, treats and holiday music.
