The Forks has opened the majority of its winter activities inside the popular Arctic Glacier Winter Park.
Paul Jordan, chief operating officer of The Forks, said the colder weather has allowed them to open up 1.2 kilometres of skating trails, the Olympic-sized rink adjacent to Scotiabank stage, and the toboggan hill.
“Now we’re just waiting on more snow so we can open the rest of Arctic Glacier Winter Park,” Jordan said.
The canopy skating rink opened earlier this month, while the snowboard fun park and Great-West Life Snow Lounge will follow.
