Another group of Shilo-based soldiers are returning home today — just in time for Christmas.
The soldiers, who were part of Operation Attention, include 20 service members who were stationed in Afghanistan for the past six months.
About 350 soldiers from several military units based at Shilo have been deployed for the same duration in the final rotation of Canadian soldiers serving with the operation in Afghanistan.
Families will greet their loved ones back to the base at noon.
