Three Teens Arrested After Break and Enter Spree

Winnipeg Police CrestThree teens have been arrested after Winnipeg Police say they went on a break and enter spree in the Inkster neighbourhood over a two-week period.

Winnipeg police said the teens broke into several houses between Nov. 25 and Dec. 6, including five homes on Parr Street, two on Polson Avenue and one on Machray Avenue, Cathedral Avenue and Atlantic Avenue.

Police were called on December 10 just after 3 p.m. about a recent break-in on Cathedral Avenue, and were able to track one of the suspects down on Parr Street thanks to the K9 unit. Two other suspects were then identified and arrested, said police.

Two 14-year-old boys and one 13-year-old boy was arrested and face multiple property-related charges. The 14-year-old was taken into custody, while the two 13-year-olds have been released on a promise to appear.
