Winnipeg Police CrestA Winnipeg man has been arrested after he uttered threats towards officers, say police.

Police said they went to a home on Granville Avenue after two men went to the home and began yelling at the top of their lungs. The men then went to the front door, banged on it, and threatened the people inside.

The men eventually left, but not before AIR1 tracked them down.

While the men were being arrested, one of them became aggressive, said police, and tried to choke the officer. The officer subdued and handcuffed the man, who then started uttering threats towards the two officers, and tried to land a kick against the other officer.
