Winnipeg police are looking for four suspects in two robberies that happened Monday.
The first robbery happened on Edison Avenue when two men entered a convenience store at about 3:40 a.m. The men confronted the 45-year-old employee with a weapon, jumped over the counter and stole cigarettes and other merchandise. They then fled and the employee was not hurt.
Police are looking for two white males, about 30 years old, with the first about 5’8″ tall with a medium build and carrying a weapon. The second is described as 5’10” tall and chubby.
The second robbery happened at about 8:50 p.m., when a man and a woman entered a gas station on Jefferson Avenue and demanded money from the till from the 22-year-old female employee. The woman wasn’t hurt, but the suspects got away with cash.
Police are searching for an aboriginal man, tall with a skinny build, and an aboriginal woman, short with a heavy build.
