Winnipeg police say a man has died after he was found lying on the ground outside the United Way Wednesday.
Police said a passer-by spotted the man at about 5:30 a.m. and called emergency services for help. Emergency services responders found the man in critical condition and transported him to hospital, where the 55-year-old man later passed away.
Police shut down the street for a period of time to investigate, but later said there were no signs of foul play and the man had likely been outside for a number of hours. An autopsy is pending.
