A new website aims to inform visitors to the Riding Mountain National Park area about the many activities available during the winter months.
The Riding Mountain Marketing Group (RMMG) is behind Riding-Mountain.ca providing travellers with information about every aspect of a satisfying getaway.
“The Riding Mountain region offers experiences that can’t be found anywhere else,” said Melisa Stefaniw, coordinator of Tourism Dauphin and member of RMMG.
“Our brand stands out because of the quality and uniqueness it represents. It competes on the global stage to attract visitors from around the world, not just from Manitoba and the rest of Canada.”
According to the Canadian Tourism Commission, tourism spending increased last year, particularly among visitors arriving in the fall and winter, in what industry insiders refer to as the “shoulder season.”
