A Winnipeg woman was not seriously hurt after she was pepper-sprayed on Wednesday evening.
Winnipeg police said the woman, 19, was walking to her car in the 1200 block of St. Mary’s Road when a woman approached her armed with pepper spray and demanded her car keys.
When the woman refused, the suspect sprayed her then ran away with three other people who had been standing nearby. The victim did not need medical attention.
Police said they arrested a 14-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man. Police said further arrests are expected.
