Hundreds of people will be served a Christmas meal on Monday at Agape Table.
The agency, which provides nutritious meals and emergency food in the West Broadway and downtown areas, will continue with its annual tradition at 9 a.m. More than 300 Christmas meals with all of the trimmings will be served during Agape’s regular morning hours of operation.
“As the cold winter weather makes it even more difficult for those struggling with homelessness and hunger, the Christmas meal Agape Table serves in a warm and welcoming environment — thanks to community generosity — is an especially meaningful annual tradition for Agape Table’s guests, volunteers and staff,” the agency said in an e-mail.
Agape Table is located at 175 Colony Avenue.
