It will cost you more to ride Winnipeg Transit beginning on Wednesday.
Transit fares are going up on January 1 to $2.55 — an increase of five cents if paid in cash. Reduced and senior cash fares will be $2.05.
Tickets will jump to $2.20 from $2.15. A Max 5 Pass will increase to $19.80, a SuperPass to $22 and a monthly pass to $84.70 from $82.80.
2013 bus tickets (plus applicable cash difference) will be accepted until Sunday, March 31, 2014.
