City Closes Kenaston Snow-Dumping Site

City of WinnipegThe City of Winnipeg has closed the Kenaston Boulevard snow disposal site for the season.

The south end location has reached its capacity, forcing residents and snow-clearing contractors to use alternative dumping sites.

The following sites remain open to the public:

North area
McPhillips Street site
Site is 1.25 kilometres south of Perimeter Highway on McPhillips Street, east side of McPhillips (500,000 cubic metres)

East area
South End Water Pollution Control Centre site
South of Perimeter Highway, east of St. Mary’s Road. (450,000 cu. m)

South area
West End Water Pollution Control Centre site
South side of Wilkes Avenue, west of the Perimeter Highway (400,000 cu. m)
