Winnipeg police have made an arrest in the death of a senior citizen in St. Vital in late December.
Keith George McFee was found dead in a suite in the 200 block of Fernwood Avenue on January 3. Police say an altercation between McFee and a woman ensued sometime between December 26-27 while the two were drinking alcohol.
During the argument, the woman fatally assaulted McFee in the upper body before fleeing the scene in his vehicle.
Leanne May Henderson, 31, was located by police on Monday in the 500 block of William Avenue.
She remains in custody, facing charges of second-degree murder and theft over $5,000.
