The ALS Society of Manitoba is targeting foodies with their latest fundraising effort.
The Great Dining Experience is taking advantage of some of Winnipeg’s most well-known restaurants. For $5, you can win one of four dining packages valued at between $75 and $650.
“We all love to eat out! No cooking, no dishes, no clean up,” said Diana Rasmussen, executive director of the ALS Society of Manitoba. “And now we can dine out for a good cause.”

Proceeds from the fundraiser will help purchase much-needed equipment for Manitoba’s living with ALS.
Tickets can be purchased by calling (204) 831-1510, e-mailing HOPE@alsmb.ca or visiting the ALS office at 493 Madison Street. Tickets will also be sold at the community booths at St. Vital Centre on from January 16-18 and at Garden City Shopping Centre January 30-31 during mall hours.
The draw will take place on Friday, February 7 at Cowboy’s, Canad Inn Windsor Park. Winners will be notified if not in attendance.
