A 22-year-old woman died on Sunday after falling off the back of a snowmobile in the community of Pukatawagan.
The woman was brought unresponsive to the local nursing station at around 6 p.m. with life-threatening injuries.
RCMP say she was riding in a group through Pukatawagan when she fell off and was struck by a quad following behind. She wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
Both speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors.
The woman’s name isn’t being released.
