Road and weather conditions are believed to be factors in a crash that killed a 62-year-old man late Wednesday afternoon in the RM of Rhineland.
RCMP were called to Highway 30 near Highway 14 at around 5:30 p.m., where they say a northbound semi-trailer truck hauling grain struck a southbound pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup was pronounced deceased at the scene, while his 50-year-old female passenger was transported to hospital in Altona with undetermined injuries.
Police continue to investigate and say alcohol is not considered a factor.
