Sewitt, 23, was claimed off waivers from the Gary SouthShore RailCats during the final week of the season last summer. He didn’t allow a run in four relief appearances and had four strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings of work. In 40 outings with the Goldeyes and RailCats in 2013, he went 4-1 with a 4.71 ERA.
