Natural gas rates are going up for Manitobans after the Public Utilities Board approved a 6.4% increase.
The increase works out to be $50 more annually for the typical residential home beginning February 1.
Centra Gas Manitoba rates for customers that have signed fixed-term fixed-price contracts, with either Centra or a private broker, are not affected.
Rates will be reviewed again on May 1.
