Dentistry students from the University of Manitoba are showing their latest work today during Research Day 2014.
The showcase is being held at the RBC Convention Centre and features an array of scientific presentations and displays covering myriad themes and topics.
“Our young researchers have all put in a tremendous amount of work to develop their ideas and concepts and it shows in the results they have achieved,” said Faculty of Dentistry associate dean Raj Bhullar. “This year, more students than ever have come forward to share their ideas and to compete for top honours. Research Day has become an important step in their scientific careers.”
Presenters will vie for top honours in the oral presentation and poster presentation categories.
Presentations will run until noon, with the poster competition to follow. All are welcome to attend as admission is free. Presentations will take place in room 16 in the lower level of the convention centre with the posters displayed in the east mezzanine throughout the day.
