The Winnipeg Jets are trading in the rinks at MTS Centre and the MTS Iceplex for the naturally-frozen variety.
The Jets will hold an outdoor practice on Sunday, February 23 on the Assiniboine River at The Forks.
The Jets, along with the full coaching staff, will skate for approximately one hour as they prepare for the final stretch of the regular season. The event is an opportunity for the general public to access players and coaches and to experience a professional hockey practice in a community environment.
Practice will begin at 1:30 p.m. and is open and free to the public.
