Three Charged Following Discovery of Grow-Op

Winnipeg Police CrestThree people are facing charges after a marijuana grow-op was uncovered on Friday evening.

Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Woodbine Avenue for an unrelated matter.

When officers entered they discovered a grow-op and obtained a search warrant. Police seized numerous live marijuana plants, dry marijuana and grow-op equipment.

Two women and a man have been charged and were released pending a court appearance.
