Fire Leads to Homicide Probe on Bloodvein First Nation

RCMP Crest LogoManitoba RCMP are investigating a homicide on Bloodvein First Nation after a fire early Saturday morning.

Police say they were called to a house fire at around 2:30 a.m., where the remains of an adult male were later discovered.

The death is being treated as a homicide and an autopsy is scheduled in Winnipeg for Monday.

RCMP and the Office of the Fire Commissioner are both investigating.
