A 19-year-old Winnipeg man is facing attempted murder charges after an altercation over the weekend.
Police say the suspect was inside a home in the 100 block of Noble Avenue on Saturday night when a verbal argument broke out.
The man was asked to leave the home, but returned a few minutes later to retrieve his coat. The argument resumed and ended up with a 19-year-old man being stabbed several times in the upper body after the suspect picked up a knife.
The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition.
Jordan Thomas Munroe has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault. He remains in custody.
