The death of a 31-year-old man on Bloodvein First Nation is being treated as suspicious after his body was discovered Monday morning.
RCMP say the injured man was found on a known trail shortly before 2:30 a.m. and taken to the local nursing station, where he was pronounced deceased.
An autopsy was scheduled to be carried out in Winnipeg on Tuesday.
Police are continuing to investigate.
It’s the second death in the community in recent days, after a body was discovered in a home following a house fire.
