The Manitoba Bison men’s and women’s basketball teams will hope to sweep the 23rd annual Duckworth Challenge tonight.
The Bisons are hosting their cross-town rivals when the Winnipeg Wesmen visit the Investors Group Athletic Centre.
Manitoba swept Winnipeg in volleyball when the two teams met during an earlier portion of the challenge in October.
Manitoba now holds a winning Duckworth Challenge overall record of 12-6-5 in the contest’s 23-year history and has won the challenge trophy in four of the last five seasons.
The games will count in the Canada West standings, as they are conference regular season matches.
Game time is 6 p.m. (women) and 8 p.m. (men).
