Plows Working to Clear Winnipeg Streets

City of WinnipegCity plows hit Winnipeg streets late Wednesday night as snow continued to fall in Southern Manitoba, bringing about 10 centimetres by Thursday morning.

Grader plowing is underway on regional streets, as well as sanding efforts. The city says bus and collector routes are also being given attention.

Residential streets will be plowed beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 15.

A full sidewalk plowing/blowing operation on P1, P2 and P3 streets began at 7 a.m.

Back lanes will be cleared beginning Friday at 7 a.m.

The city’s snow route parking ban remains in effect, forbidding vehicles to park on any street designated as a snow route between midnight and 7 a.m. until further notice.
