The Manitoba Bison men’s hockey team faces the UBC Thunderbirds tonight and Saturday in a series they hope will end with a top four finish in Canada.
Manitoba (11-11-4) is playing its last two games of the regular season at home by hosting the seventh place Thunderbirds (10-14-2).
Third year forward Aaron Lewadniuk (12 goals, 15 assists) leads the team and is tied for 11th in Canada West scoring with 27 points. Second year forward Jesse Paradis (10g, 16a) is tied for 14th in the conference and second on the team with 26 points.
Game time is 7 p.m. tonight and 6 p.m. Saturday at Wayne Fleming Arena on the U of M’s Fort Garry campus.

The Bison women are hosting a best-of-three quarter final playoff series against the Regina Cougars this weekend. Game time is today at 3 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and if necessary, Sunday at 2 p.m. (Wayne Fleming Arena).
