A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with a sexual assault on a woman that occurred in 2011.
Winnipeg police say on September 19, a 23-year-old woman walking in the 300 block of Manitoba Avenue was confronted by a man on a bike. She was forced between two garages where she was sexually assaulted before the suspect took off on his bike.
Kirt Cameron was arrested on Wednesday and has been charged with sexual assault. He remains in custody.
