Hockey fans in Westman can show their pride for their home team with a new specialty licence plate.
Brandon Wheat Kings plates will be available on Monday, February 24 through more than 300 Autopac agents across the province.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the province and Manitoba Public Insurance to make these plates available to the public,” said Kelly McCrimmon, governor, general manager and head coach of the Wheat Kings. “Our organization has the most passionate fans in the Western Hockey League. This plate will be the perfect accessory for vehicles in Westman and across the entire province.”
The cost of the plates will be $70 with $30 of that fee going toward the Brandon Humane Society.
The Wheat Kings plate is the seventh specialty plate issued by the province.
