Tractor, Semi Collide on Manitoba Highway

RCMP Crest LogoRCMP are investigating after a two-vehicle crash on PR 403 near St. Pierre-Jolys on Tuesday evening.

An eastbound tractor carrying a bail with a forklift collided with a westbound semi-trailer hauling hogs just before 8 p.m.

None of the animals were injured in the crash, but the 40-year-old Lorette driver of the semi and the 55-year-old tractor driver from the RM of Hanover were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The hogs were transferred to another truck and taken to their destination.

Police are continuing to investigate.
