Some of Canada’s greatest Paralympians will be making the rounds to schools across the country during Paralympic Schools Week.
Taking place 12 days between the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games — February 24 to March 7 — athletes will visit 25 schools as guest speakers.
Wheelchair rugby athlete Jared Funk will visit Winnipeg’s Bonnycastle School on February 24 and 25.
Athletes are making visits at no cost to the schools, but are supported by Petro-Canada.
