Child Dies After Struck by Vehicle on Manitoba First Nation

RCMP Crest LogoA child was killed on God’s River First Nation on Thursday after being struck by a vehicle.

Police say just before 7 p.m. a 29-year-old man was reversing his vehicle when he hit a four-year-old girl. The child was taken to the local nursing station, where she was pronounced deceased.

Alcohol is not considered a factor and police continue to investigate.
