A curling bonspiel organized by Manitoba Music and Manitoba Film & Music has raised over $4,500 for the Unison Benevolent Fund.

The 2014 Manitoba Music Rocks Charity Bonspiel at the Granite Curling Club on February 2 brought out more than 140 curlers.

The fourth annual event sold out in record time and helped bring the bonspiel’s total fundraising efforts to in excess of $14,500.

“Once again, the Manitoba music community has shown its generous spirit in its support of the Unison Benevolent Fund,” said Manitoba Music executive director Sara Stasiuk. “We’re proud to be able to do our part to help the Unison Benevolent Fund reach its goal.”

The Unison Benevolent Fund is an assistance and referral program, which was created and administered by the music industry, for the music industry.
