MTS Working to Restore Service After Cut Cable

March 3, 2014 11:58 AM | News

MTSMTS is still working to restore landline, high-speed Internet and TV service in areas of Fort Rouge and Fort Garry after a water main break on Saturday.

Crews working to fix the water main cut a cable in the process, disrupting MTS service to about 1,000 customers within the boundaries of Pembina Highway, Waverley Street, Bishop Grandin Boulevard and McGillivray Boulevard.

While crews work to get those affected back online, MTS says it has restored a CDMA cell site that was also cut off.
