Scott Thomson, Manitoba Hydro president and CEO
The president and CEO of Manitoba Hydro will address members of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) on Wednesday.
Scott Thomson will outline the corporation’s latest projects and the province’s energy future at the monthly BOMA luncheon, held at the Delta Winnipeg.
“Our member firms make up one of the largest stakeholder groups for Manitoba Hydro, and we’re very interested to hear about the corporation’s plans for development and growth,” said Tom Thiessen, BOMA’s executive director. “And as BOMA members take on more building projects and new real estate developments, we’re keenly interested to hear Mr. Thomson’s thoughts on the reliability of power supply, customer service and price stability going forward.”
Thomson is also expected to address Hydro’s export revenues, new power deals and provide an overview of the crown utility’s development plan, including the proposed Keeyask and Conawapa generating stations.
