Students at St. Paul’s High School will get an up-close look at the consequences of drinking and driving today.
MADD Canada and Manitoba Public Insurance are presenting “Smashed,” MADD’s assembly program that delivers an emotional and realistic reminder on how quickly tragedy can occur when someone makes the wrong decision.
Students who see Smashed will experience a fictional account of friends who ditch a school dance in favour of going to a house party, and where one terrible decision causes a lifetime of grief and guilt. The dramatization is followed by the real stories of three victims of impaired driving crashes.
The assembly is scheduled for 9 a.m.
