The Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s last performance of the season will be of the mixed genre, featuring three stunning premieres from the world’s leading contemporary ballet choreographers.

The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude will run May 7-11 at the Centennial Concert Hall and is being choreographed by William Forsythe.

The fast-paced, high energy work certainly lives up to its name, providing a breathtaking display of classical technique, precise footwork and courtly partnering.

The program will be followed up by The Four Seasons by James Kudelka, which is a rich interpretation of the journey of life. Winnipeg’s own Jorden Morris will create a new signature work, Défilé, in celebration of the connectivity of the RWB Company and the RWB School’s Professional Division.

Showtimes are nightly at 7:30 p.m., with the exception of a matinée on May 11 at 2 p.m.

Tickets start at $27 and can be purchased online at RWB.org, in person through the RWB box office at 380 Graham Avenue or by calling (204) 956-2792
