Four people are facing charges after a home invasion in Steinbach early Thursday.
At around 1:40 a.m., two men and a female youth forced their way into a home on Third Street. A man inside the residence was struck in the head with a metal bar before being forced to walk to a local bank and withdrawal money from his account. He was assaulted a second time before the suspects walked away.
RCMP have since arrested two teen girls, aged 16 and 17 from Mitchell, Manitoba, and two men, aged 19 and 21 from Steinbach.
The victim and two female suspects were known to each other.
Police later found clothing worn during the assault, as well as the weapon used.
Additional charges and arrests are expected to be made.
