Canadian pop duo Tegan and Sara are performing at the Juno Awards in Winnipeg this year, and they need some local help.
The singers have put the call out to assemble 20 or more backup choir singers for their hit song “Closer.”
With the help of directors Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman of Toronto’s Choir! Choir! Choir!, Tegan and Sara will perform at MTS Centre on March 30.
Fans who think they have what it takes to be on stage can upload a video to YouTube of singing Closer a cappella, title it “Closer Choir Submission!” and tweet it to @teganandsara with the hashtag #CloserChoir.
