City of WinnipegWith spring arriving in two days, the City of Winnipeg is preparing to plow residential streets in advance of the melt.

Beginning Wednesday, crews will target streets to open drains and clear catch basins.

A residential parking ban is not going into effect, as the main focus is clearing drainage in the driving lane. However, the city is still asking residents to know their snow zone and assist crews by finding alternative parking spots.

Plowing will be carried out until Friday evening.
